Consuming, fast paced, clockwork – these traits of the USA and their unique spontaneous way of working fascinate me. They have always fascinated me. I photograph places you have never even set a foot on, never smelled the air or felt the dampness of it yet it’s still somehow familiar. Genius locci resides under your skin, it’s part of you. My created image might be different from yours or from reality yet every one of us has untold stories about the US, imaginary stories or emotions that only you share. At some point in our lives we all were influenced by the nation beyond the great water more than by any other country, consciously or not.
